Akel & Nikki

Spring 2026 I met a canvasser for Rep Your Block who brought me in to help create printed assets for Akel Williams and Nakisha “Nikki” Evans in their collaborative efforts to win the District Leader seat in the NY Democratic State Committee. Over the course of three weeks, I volunteered with the team at New Kings Democrats to quickly turn around a cohesive design approach for palm cards for canvassing, a poster, and a mailer. Nikki and Akel won their seats on June 23, 2026, and I am exceptionally grateful to have played a very small part in their campaign push at the end!
